Used tires are stored in small quantities, out of the industrial shed with a firefighting system, or inside the industrial shed separated from special walls fireproof, to be loaded in full on special trolleys that will be placed in a tightness pyrolytic furnace functioning in total absence of oxygen, therefore in the absence of flame and harmful or dangerous emissions in the atmosphere, no dioxins or any other type of harmful emissions for the eco-environmental system. Average disposal includes daily recycling of about 20 tons of used tires, equivalent to about 2,500 tires of car, SUV , trucks, buses, agricultural vehicles, and machinery. By similar procedure and using the same plant it is possible to dispose of various polymers as "plastic" obtained and derived from various chemical formulas. In the disposal of plastic there is no Carbon Black production, and from the plastic good gas oil (light color) is obtained, syngas, ash and a small amount of iron. The yield in diesel, in the process of disposal of "plastic", is considerably higher than that obtained by the tires.
The patented system of Rep Italia srl is born with the precise aim of not polluting, so it comes with a special one patented damper for smokes, powders, micropores, and smells. The only emission that will be made in the atmosphere is just a trace of water vapor + a tiny part of CO2 and total emissions are well below the more restrictive limits required by ARPA for environmental protection. The reactor is heated up and brought to a suitable temperature for a definite time in order to complete the pyrolysis process. In the reactor, steam is produced which is sent to a special heat exchanger placed externally to precipitate the liquid part that is, gas oil, and separate the gaseous part, the Syngas. Smokes and any micro dust generated by heating are dropped by a special plant which allows to break down more than 99% of each type of emission into the atmosphere. From the "used tires" the following products are obtained by distillation: the gas-oil: is filtered and conveyed into special outer tanks with a double wall and placed underground, then with a special centrifuge plant is filtered and brought to the generating sets working 24 hours a day seven days a week. Syngas: is captured by special probes and compressed in special tanks outside, according to Atex legislation, then re-used to heat the reactor itself. The Carbon-Black: which at the end of the process, after being separated from the steel, is deposited in special storage tanks to be packed in bags and sold to the paint industry, of tires, or for the production of a toner for printers.
Steel: good quality, completely extracted from the tires, is picked up in special containers waiting to be sold and sent to steel mills. The fumes of the generating sets, although equipped with catalytic converters, and those of the heating of the pyrolytic reactor, they are conveyed into a patented damper for smokes to be completely eliminated through a cyclone process of water. The resulting sludge is disposed of in special waste dumps to be then vitrified and rendered inert materials. The peculiar feature of our plant is its robust construction, the careful selection of highly selected and suitable materials, as well as ease of use that makes it extremely reliable and with minimal maintenance. The plant is controlled in all its main functions by a PLC that also emits the periodic report of the emissions analysis in the atmosphere.
